Dewey's 24 Hour Readathon

Hey reader friends.  I'm sure many of you have heard of Dewey's 24 hour readathon! This weekend they're having their spring readathon and I'm joining in the fun.  One of the book groups I'm in is also having a 24 in 48 readathon this weekend, so I'll have so much time to read.  

I've been debating for so long about which books I want to read.  I mean, where do you start when you have 24 hours to fill!  

I have a lot of books I've started that I'd like to either finish or make headway in this weekend.  So far, this is what is on my list: 

 

I also have some manga that I plan to check out from the library this week so I have something short and less intense to read.

Dewey's Reverse Readathon

 

Hello reader friends!  This should come as no surprise that I decided at literally THE LAST MINUTE to do Dewey's 24 Hour REVERSE readathon.  Why put the REVERSE in capital letters, you ask?  Well, because usually the Dewey is 24 hours starting in the morning on a Saturday.  But today - it starts in the evening TODAY - on Friday!  

So, I'm not going to stress about this like I tend to do during a 24 hour readathon.  I'm just going to read as much as I can, and whatever happens, happens.

I am hoping to finish:

- Good Omens

- The Toll

- Before the Devil Breaks You

If I finish those, I am going to start:

- Cinder

- King of Crows

Dewey's 24 Hour Readathon!

Hey reader friends!  This weekend marks another round of the Dewey's 24 Hour Readathon!  That's right - it's time for another bout of reading for 24 hours in one weekend.  This readathon just happens to fall on my weekend off.  SO, I am going to do the Dewey again.  It's been a few years since I've participated, and I figure now is a good time to jump back in. 

Now, I can't promise that I will stay awake the entire 24 hours - but I will try!  No matter how much I do read, at least I will have fun!
